Blues Central Speakeasy is a hidden gem in the heart of Anchorage, offering a nostalgic nod to the Prohibition era. The rich indigo walls, brass accents, and custom craft cocktails create an intimate atmosphere, redefining the bar scene in Anchorage.

We worked closely with the owners and the head bartender as they developed the cocktail program to design a beautiful brand identity system, featuring art deco design elements, vintage typography, and a sophisticated color palette using dark, moody indigo tones. The look and feel was extended throughout the leather menus, website, and coordinating materials.
As the build-out progressed, we worked alongside architect Petra Wilm and builder Marya Pillifant to select finishes and aesthetic elements consistent with the branding, including paint color selection, custom drapery specifications, and artwork curation, using photos of a local band, taken by photographer Brendan Shanley.
